So, today in art...Me: Boys and girls...when I ask a yes or no question then all I need is a yes or a no. Not a maybe, not "I don't know", not "I'm not sure", not "she did it first", and not "they were all doing it." All I need is a yes or a no.
So, today in art...Student: I threw up in the bathroom. Me: Did you wash your hands. Go wash your hands. Student: Mr. Smith...she said I was faking. Me: Did you wash your hands? Student: No. Me: Then stop touching me and go wash your hands.
So, today in art...Student: Mr. Smith, you should dress like you did yesterday everyday. I like you in shorts. Me: Thanks...but I don't think your principal feels that same way.
So, today in art (Earth Day edition)...Principal: Mr. Smith I am sorry that I was looking at you this morning like you were crazy. I saw you in those shorts and did not know what to say. I forgot today was earth day and that you would outside all day. I am so use to seeing you dressed up. I still love you. Me: I was wondering why you were staring at me like that.
