So, today in art...Me: 3rd graders are studying our solar system. They to research a planet they would like to visit and create rocket ships to get them there.








So, today in art...Me: 4th graders are studying N. C. Lighthouses. They had to pick a lighthouse to research and create that lighthouse.












So, today in art...Student:  You changed the school.  Me:  What?  Student:  You changed the school.  It's different...it's good...it's better.  You changed the school.  
So, today in art...Me: I have a dream that you stay in your seat and finish your work. Other students: Bhahahahahahaha....He told you. He got you. It's funny because its true. He really wants you to stay in your seat.
So, today in art...Student:  I have a dream that I am de Superman.
So, today in art...Student:  How do you spell trouble?  Me:  M. A. S. O. N.  Student (writing before he realizes):  Hey!!!!  That's my name.  Me:  Bhahahahahaha...I know.  And you started writing it down to. 

So, today in art...Student: You are the best teacher in the world. Me: Well, I guess that makes you the luckiest kid in the world.
So, today in art...Student: Mr. Smith? Mr. Smith?. Me: Do you not hear Martin Luther King Jr. talking? Student: Yes. Me: Do you see him giving his famous "I have a Dream" speech. Student: Yes. Me: And you're gonna interrupt him. Student: Yes. Me: Well it must me important. What do you need? Student: Hey.
So, today in art...Student: Who is he? Me: That is Martin Luther King Jr. and he had a dream. Student: A train! Choo, choo...I think I can, I think I can. Me: No...a dream, not a train.
