This blog is a compilation of conversations between my students, other teachers, the parents and I. My purpose is to illustrate the importance of art education in my local community. The arts allow the children’s spirit of their imaginations to soar and creates a deeper understanding of the world around them.

So, today in art (Full Moon, Hunter's Moon, Lunar Eclipse Edition)...Me: Although you may think its polite to ask people if you can stab them, it is not. You know what? I need for you to take about 3 steps back. I don't want you in stabbing distance and give me that pencil. And you can not use anymore pencils or scissors the rest of the time you are in my class. And you can only use the kindergarten crayons. The fat ones. Just this little red one. It should be safe.
